USANA Scam Reviews: Why People Call USANA a Scam

USANA is a health and nutrition company that manufactures nutritional supplements, weight-management products, and personal care products.

If you want more information about the actual products then head to the USANA website.

There are dozens of success stories listed on their website and all around the internet.

So how is it possible for USANA to be a scam?

It’s because USANA is a multilevel marketing company aka mlm.

Most people cringe when they hear the words multilevel marketing or network marketing (either can be used interchangeably).

Companies like USANA recruit independent distributors to market and promote their company.

They pay these distributors out of their advertising budget.

Thus, it is the distributors job to sell USANA’s products on their behalf as well as recruit other people to sell USANA.

The more customers and team members you acquire, the more money you make. The structure of the compensation plan resembles a pyramid, which is why people call USANA a scam or a pyramid scheme.

The Truth About MLM

There are hundreds of companies out there who use this business model, including some of America’s top companies like Avon, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Tupperware.

However, MLM is not for everyone.

The best suited individual for MLM is one who has an entrepreneurial mindset, is ready to work hard to create his own business, and is comfortable not having a boss and a guaranteed paycheck.

MLM can be a very lucrative opportunity for the right person like me. That’s why I got involved with mlm and network marketing because if you are willing to work hard and make sacrifices in the beginning, you can reap the extraordinary benefits down the road.

Most people aren’t willing to put themselves at risk and make big sacrifices to accomplish their dreams.

It’s sad but it’s the truth.

They would rather work a 9-5 job, answer to a boss, live paycheck to paycheck, work for the weekends, and grind through life until they are old and withered before they can retire.

However, even if you do think that USANA is a good fit for you, there is a big mistake USANA distributors make when marketing their business.

How To Market USANA The Right Way

Most offline mlm companies like USANA teach their distributors the same old-school methods of growing their business.

They tell you to make a gigantic list of warm market prospects that you can reach out to.

People like your friends, your family, your local dentist and doctors, businessmen and acquaintances.

The problem I have with this approach is that these people likely don’t care about mlm or joining you in your business.

Some will, but most won’t.

Then the inevitable happens, you run out of people to talk to and your business tanks because without leads your business will drown.

This is why most offline mlm marketers fail.

I’m here to show you a better way, and that way is to learn how to market your business on the internet.

The internet is the most abundance resource known to man, and there are thousands upon thousands of people searching for information about USANA online every month.

The people who are searching for information on USANA are obviously already interested.

This is much different than approaching your friends, family, or dentist because they are not already interested.

Thus, the people who are searching online have a higher chance of taking action and joining the company. They are what I call a “pre-qualified lead.”

What if your website showed up to those thousands of people looking for information about USANA?

You would be positioned as the leader who would give them all the information they needed, and a good percentage of those people would end up joining you.

Imagine how much quicker you could grow your business then?

Not to forget that the Internet never shuts down, so people would find your website 24/7 even if you weren’t working.

The internet allows you to have an automated business that works for you instead of you working for your business all the time.

5 Steps to Getting Started Online

Step 1: Create a Blog

A blog is your central hub for all your marketing efforts.

It is how people will find you and build trust in you.

Learn how to setup an mlm blog here.

Step 2: Create Content

Creating content is the next step.

However, you don’t just blog about anything and everything. This is a big mistake newbies make.

You want to perform keyword research, which is simply finding out what your target audience is typing into the search engines like Google, so that you can create content that caters to their needs.

There are tools to do this and you can also visit forums and many other resources to find out what questions, concerns, wants, needs, and desires your target audience has.

Then you will have tons of ideas for content, and you will never run out of ideas for blog posts, videos, audios, etc.

Step 3: Market and Promote Your Content

It’s not as simple as writing a blog post and everyone finding it.

You have to market your content and get it out there in front of as many targeted eyeballs as possible.

You also have to learn search engine optimization (SEO), so that you can rank your content higher and higher in the search engines..

Step 4: Get People To Subscribe To Your Email Newsletter

Just because someone visits your website the first time doesn’t mean that they will buy your products or join you in your business.

In fact, it takes on average 7+ follow ups before a lead converts into a sale.

Therefore, it is crucial that you get visitors to subscribe to your email newsletter so that you can follow up with them.

Send them updates whenever you publish a new blog post, send them testimonials, ask them what they need help with, etc.

Use this tutorial to setup your email auto responder.

Step 5: Keep Giving More and More Value

The more you help people the more you will get back in return.

Keep teaching them something new.

Show them how your product or business can benefit them.

Go above and beyond and over-deliver on value and people will want to work with you over the other guy.
