Keyword Advantage Review: Don’t Buy Before Reading This

Keyword Advantage Review

Hey, Tim here.

You’re probably looking for a detailed Keyword Advantage review.

I specialize in SEO for blogging and YouTube, and this product definitely streamlines the process.

P.S. I am NOT an affiliate of this product, so I won’t be selling you anything today.

Just a classic, unbiased review from a super internet marketer.

Keyword Advantage Review: What Is It?

Keyword Advantage is a keyword research tool designed by Adam Short (creator of Niche Profit Classroom).

The purpose of this tool is to find buyer keywords with high search volume and low competition.

One of the biggest mistakes newbie SEOers and internet marketers make is trying to rank for highly competitive keywords right off the bat.

This can lead to months of frustration and the ultimate demise of your niche site efforts.

In short, the Keyword Advantage tool will pull a list of keywords from the Google Keyword Planner tool.

Then it will calculate the competitiveness of each keyword and sort them by color (the greener the better, red is bad).

This visual markers make this tool very user-friendly and easy to interpret.

These keywords can be useful for both blogging SEO and video marketing SEO.

Why Is Keyword Research Important?

Keyword research is a fundamental step in creating profitable niche websites.

Most would argue that this step should be done first before moving on any further.

When performing keyword research, there are 3 questions you want answers for:

  1. What is the monthly search volume?
  2. Does this keyword have the potential to make me money?
  3. Can I rank for this keyword?

The good news is that the Keyword Advantage tool answers all three, so you can feel pretty confident using this software.

However, the time-frame it may take to rank is not always clear.

More recently, Google has updated it’s algorithm to prevent SEOers from quickly ranking niche websites to the top of page 1.

If you are starting a brand new site, then ranking for a fairly low-competitive keyword could take several months.

I much prefer creating a massive authority site that Google will trust long-term and will reward with much quicker rankings.

The problem I have with small niche sites is that the money is small. You’re usually selling a product for $20 or $30 bucks, which means you have to sell HUNDREDS of them in order to see any real money.

Not to forget that you only get paid one time on the purchase. I prefer residual income and high ticket products that pay me month after month after month.

That is how you truly create financial and lifestyle freedom.

5 Steps to Creating an Authority Site

Step 1.) Start a blog!

A blog is your home base for all of your marketing efforts.

This is where people go to learn about you, your products/services, and you unique story.

People like to buy and work with people they trust, so don’t be afraid to put yourself on video and share your story (the good and the bad).

The more authentic you are, the better off you will be.

Here’s a blog setup tutorial to make it easy for you.

Step 2.) Perform Keyword Research

Use the Keyword Advantage tool, or my favorite, Long Tail Pro, to find at least 30-50 buyer keywords in your niche.

This will ensure that you won’t run out of content ideas anytime soon.

Step 3.) Create Content and Rank it in the search engines

Keyword Advantage is a great tool for identifying low-competition keywords, but you still have to know how to rank them.

This boils down to having solid on-page optimization and off-page optimization.

In other words, you have to learn the basics of search engine optimization (SEO) and creating backlinks.

Messing these two things up will keep you from climbing to the first page.

Step 4.) Pick a High Ticket Product to Promote

Would you rather have to sell 100 products at $100 each or 10 products at $1,000 each.

It is NOT harder to sell a $1,000 product than it is a $100 product. In fact, it takes the same amount of work so why would you waste time selling a smaller product?

Check out my favorite high-ticket product.

Step 5.) Build an email list

Building your email subscribers is your main priority.

You will make the most money creating relationships with your list and selling them on your products.

It takes at least 7 contacts or more before someone buys.

So, if you are banking on customers buying the first time they visit your site, then you’re in trouble.

Focus on building your email list and giving them as much value as possible.

Keyword Advantage Summary

Keyword Advantage is a great tool for identifying low-competitive keywords to rank your niche sites for.

However, I do believe Long Tail Pro is a better option.

I also believe that building an authority site that will stand the test of time is a better option than creating a ton of micro-niche sites.
