It Works is spreading like wildfire, so I decided to write a post on how to market this business opportunity successfully.

I am not a member of It Works nor do I sell their products, but I do have a lot of experience marketing and coaching others to build their network marketing business.

It Works most popular product is the It Works Body Wrap, but they also offer products for body care, skin care, greens nutrition supplements, and lifestyle.

Some people love the products so much that they decide to join the company as a distributor and recommend the products to others and earn commissions.

If you visit the It Works website, you’ll notice the same video story below of “Jan,” who joined the It Works “wraprenuer” distributorship program and was able to quit her job, life debt free, and spend more time with her kids.

This becomes every It Works distributor’s dream, however, the majority of distributors never come close to achieving the same outcome as Jan.

So keep reading to discover how to successfully market this business opportunity so that you can get the best results.

It Works Scam: Here’s the Truth

There are handfuls of testimonials from happy customers, but results are not always guaranteed.

Just like with any business, there are going to be happy customers and not so happy customers, but it’s apparent that more people see success with the It Works products than the other way around.

Now in regard to the distributor program, you will see lots of people calling It Works a scam.


Because not everyone has the work ethic, mindset, and entrepreneurial fire to be successful working for themselves.

The It Works distributor program calls for self-motivated individuals with a desire to escape the boring 9-5 grind and live a lifestyle with more freedom, just like Jan in the video.

The good news is that vanity products like these sell like hotcakes. Anyone would say yes to a flatter stomach, clearer skin, and feeling healthier and energized.

The bad news is that success doesn’t happen overnight, or even in a few weeks or a few months.

That is where a lot of people set themselves up for failure. They have unrealistic expectations.

The other disadvantage of traditional offline companies like these is that they teach you old-school marketing tactics such as:

  • hosting home parties / hotel parties
  • making a list of warm market leads (friends, family members, business acquaintances)
  • cold-calling
  • passing out information and asking for referrals

While these methods do work to some extent, there is much better way that most distributors are NOT taking advantage of…

The BEST Way to Market It Works

Did you know that there are over 20,000 searches per month around It Works and their products.

What if you had a website or video sitting on the first page of Google or YouTube that gave people all the information they were looking for regarding it Works.

You would scoop up a big chunk of that traffic and you would make a lot more money and recruit a lot more distributors onto your team.

The best part is that blog post or video would be seen by people around the country 24/7 even when you are not working.

Every distributor is out there hawking the products to their warm market, but there is very little competition of online marketers selling It Works body wraps online.

That is the beauty and power of learning how to market your business online, and it’s what I specialize in teaching my coaching students.

5 Steps to Success to Marketing It Works Online

Step 1: Create a Blog

A blog is your digital brick and mortar store. It is your central hub for all of your online marketing efforts.

A blog is where people go to learn about you and your business, it’s how people find you in the search engines, and it’s how people will trust you and buy from you.

Your blog is the most powerful asset you own online, so follow my blog setup guide.

Step 2: Perform keyword research and create content for your blog.

You don’t want to market to everyone and anyone. You want to market to people who are interested in It Works and the products they sell.

So if someone is looking for a way to flatten their stomach, what would they be typing into Google?

If they wanted information about It Works, what would they be punching in the search box?

These are the keywords that we want to know so that we can build content around it (blog posts, videos, audios, pdfs, power points, etc.).

There are ways to find these keywords backed by data so you don’t waste your time.

Step 3: Market and promote your blog and the content.

You can have the best blog and content in the world, but if no one finds it then what good is it.

You have to know how to share your content across social media and how to build backlinks to your site so it ranks higher in the search engines (search engine optimization).

Step 4: Get people to subscribe to your email newsletter.

Have an enticing offer on your blog that makes readers want to opt-in to your email newsletter.

This could be a free video, free pdf, free audio, free whatever.

Always end your blog posts with a call-to-action to subscribe to your email list.

You want to do this so that you can follow up with your subscribers through email and market your products to them over time.

It takes on average between 7-14 follow ups before someone will actually buy, so if you don’t capture their email address then you are leaving money on the table.

Step 5: Keep adding value to your blog and to your subscribers.

The marketer who gives the most value to his audience wins.

You will get the best results when you are updating your blog with new content that actually adds value to people’s lives.

You also wanting to be emailing your subscribers daily with new content, testimonials, inspiration, and personal stories so that you build deeper relationships from your potential buyers.

This is how the process works online, and it’s what you can do to separate yourself from the thousands of It Works distributors out there.
