I’m sure you have heard of the product Coffee Shop Millionaire.
In this post, I’m going to review Coffee Shop Millionaire and give you enough information to make a decision on whether or not it’s a good fit for you.
I am NOT an affiliate for Coffee Shop Millionaire, so you’re going to get the real truth here.
Coffee Shop Millionaire Review: Is It Worth Paying For?
Coffee Shop Millionaire is a product created by Anthony Trister to teach the intermediate internet marketer how to sell internet marketing services to local businesses.
There are 12 training videos that cover SEO, email marketing, video marketing, and article marketing.
Then it tells you to outsource these services to freelancers on Odesk and elance, and then mark up the services to local business owners.
Obviously, this is not designed for the beginner in mind. So, if you are a newbie then I wouldn’t recommend this product (especially considering how many upsells are involved — more on that in a minute).
The most scrutinizing part of Coffee Shop Millionaire is that it lacks training on how to outsource these services properly, and more importantly, how to actually sell these services to local businesses.
I’ve been doing SEO and internet marketing for a good time now, and there are so many free sources out there that can teach you the same things.
I personally wouldn’t invest my money into this product unless you are an experienced marketer with a desire to sell SEO services to local business.
But if you just want to make money online and break free from a boring job, I believe there are much better business opportunities out there, like this one.
Is Coffee Shop Millionaire a Scam?
I don’t believe Coffee Shop Millionaire is a scam.
After a lot of research, it’s apparent that the product has several upsells as you go through it.
So if you decide to purchase the product at the introductory price then be prepared to spend a lot more money to get access to the full training.
The people who call Coffee Shop Millionaire a scam are the ones who didn’t take consistent action on the training.
Making money online is definitely achievable, however, it does take hard work and consistent effort.
A big chunk of people think they can buy some magic pill product, click the mouse a few times, and then expect benjamins to be filling up their wallets.
The other set of people calling products scams are just trying to recruit you into their business at the end.
With any product or business opportunity, there are people making money. So it really comes down the the individual applying himself and not quitting when it gets hard.
But like I said above, I don’t suggest this product if you are a beginner.
How to Start with Internet Marketing
Here is a quick rundown on how to get started learning internet marketing without having to spend money.
Step 1: Create a blog!!
If I had to start over again, I would start blogging everyday.
A blog is your central marketing hub. It is digital real estate, and it’s the best asset that you can own online. So use this tutorial and create yourself one.
A blog is how people will find you in the search engines, it’s how you can personally brand yourself and stand out from the crowd, and it’s how you can create a relationship with your visitors that turns into paying customers.
Step 2: Learn Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO is the process of ranking up and down in the search engines.
The goal is to get to page 1 of Google because the majority of people will not even look at page 2 or beyond.
There is a strategic approach to doing this and it isn’t difficult.
You perform keyword research, which means finding out what your target market is typing into Google.
Once you know that, you can create content (blog posts, videos, audios, articles, etc.) that caters to those searches.
If you do it right, you can rank to the top pages of Google and scoop up tons of targeted traffic that can become leads and even sales.
Step 3: Market and promote your content!
If you purchased a brand new car, you would be driving that bad boy everywhere showing it off and telling all your friends and family.
The same concept applies when you write a new article or record a new video.
Share that wisdom!!
Post in on your social media sites and create backlinks (a process to used to rank content higher in the search engines).
The more exposure the better results you will have.
Step 4: Start building your email subscribers.
I made the mistake of waiting too long to build my email list.
This should be a main focus when first starting out.
Not everyone who visits your blog will come back, so it’s crucial that you collect their email.
Encourage people to subscribe to your email newsletter so you can ping them with updates and follow up with them after they leave.
It takes on average 7-14 contacts for a lead to turn into a sale, so if you don’t get visitors to subscribe to your email list, then you leaving money on the table.
Let me show you step-by-step how easy it is to setup your email auto responder.
Step 5: The money is in the follow up!!
Most newbie marketers won’t follow up with their list after they get subscribers.
This is a HUGE mistake.
You have to continuously follow up with your leads if you want to turn them into sales.
Build a genuine relationship with your subscribers, offer them value, teach them something new, and do it consistently.
This is how you build credibility, trust, and respect from your list.
And that’s how you make money.
That is a basic rundown of how you can get started.
Obviously, there is a LOT more that I can teach you, but that is enough to get you going.
