If you stumbled upon this Amway Review looking for information on how to be successful marketing this business then you are in the right place.
Amyway is one of the largest MLM company’s around. It sells dietary supplements, cosmetics, home care products, electronics, jewelry, and a ton of other stuff.
If you are just looking for information about the Amways products they you can head over to their website.
In this Amway review, I am going to highlight why most people fail marketing this business, and how you can go about being successful.
But first, let’s address a circling rumor surrounding Amways.
The Truth About the Amway Scam
There are plenty of Amway scam reviews plaguing the internet.
Most of them are bashing Amway because they didn’t see any results when they joined the company.
The truth is that most people fail in network marketing and mlm companies because they join with unrealistic expectations or they don’t have the proper mindset or attitude to be successful.
Amway is an mlm / network marketing company. Those two words are enough to set off red flags in most people’s heads.
MLM takes a certain entrepreneurial individual who wants more out of life then normal people.
You have to have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and consistent with your daily habits, and you must have the mindset of an entrepreneur to rise to the top.
Most people who try MLM come from a job.
A job is very structured. You work 40 hours a week, 9am-5pm, make a guaranteed paycheck every two weeks, and you have a boss telling you what you need to do daily.
Entrepreneurship is completely opposite.
So if you are someone who is accepting of that then this opportunity might be a good fit for you.
Why Most People Fail
The majority of people who join offline mlm companies are taught old-school methods to grow their business.
Make a list of connections in your warm market and start calling them.
Other tactics include hosting home parties, cold-calling, and passing out flyers, DVDs, and brochures to get the word out.
These methods might work for a small few, but most people won’t see results this way.
When I joined network marketing and MLM, I didn’t have the time or desire to host home parties, cold-call, and knock on doors.
I had a job and I needed to grow my business in my spare-time, so I found a better way.
The Right Way to Market
The big advantage of offline mlm company’s is that no one is marketing their business online.
With offline marketing, you are limited geographically. With online marketing, you are limitless.
The other big disadvantage of marketing locally is that you are talking with a lot of people who aren’t interested in mlm or network marketing.
With online marketing, you can market specifically to people who are already interested in mlm and network marketing. This makes them more qualified lead with a better potential of converting into a team member.
There are hundreds of thousands of people searching for information on Amway every month.
Imagine if you had a blog post, video, or some other form of marketing material that showed when people typed in those searches.
How fast do you think you could grow your business then?
This is what I specialize in teaching my students.
5 Simple Steps to Getting Started Online
Step 1: You have to start a blog!!
A blog is your central hub for all your marketing efforts online.
It is how people will find you in the search engines, and it’s how people learn about you and your business.
Lastly, it’s how you build credible relationship with your audience, so go set your blog up with this guide.
Step 2: Create content for your blog.
You want to create content that is appealing to your target market.
What questions do they need help answering?
What problems do they have that you can help them solve?
What pains to they carry that you can help ease?
This is called performing keyword research, or defining exactly what your target audience is typing into Google.
Instead of wasting your time guessing at what these keywords are, there are methods to find these search phrases that are backed by data.
Step 3: Market and promote your content.
After you create your content you want to get in front of as many targeted eyeballs as possible.
The more people who see your stuff, the more leads you will pick up.
Sharing your content across social media is one way. Learning search engine optimization (SEO) is another way.
SEO is simply the process of ranking content up and down in the search engines.
Obviously, we want our content on the front page of the search engines where people will see it and click on it.
Step 4: Building your email newsletter list.
When someone first visits your blog, it is unlikely that they will buy from you.
It usually takes 7-14 follow ups before someone buys.
Thus, it is very important that you entice viewers to subscribe to your email newsletter so you can give them more tips.
Once you capture their email you can follow up with them via email marketing.
Step 5: Continue to give value to your audience.
Keep publishing content that adds value to people’s lives. Continue to recored videos so people can see your mannerisms and feel more connected with you.
Keep following up with your subscribers via email with updates, new posts, new videos, etc.
The marketer who gives the most value to his network wins.
This is when people will start buying from you.
Obviously, there is more I can teach you but those are the fundamental steps to getting started.
